Steelwork setting out
Our steel setting out consists of gridlines or centre lines marked on the concrete foundations, with datums marked around the structure to ensure the base plates are installed accurately. We can then survey the steelwork for line and level as its erection is undertaken and upon completion to make sure the frame is installed within its design tolerances.
Curtain Walling/Façade Setting out
Many new construction projects now are designed to incorporate an exterior cladding/façade system such as curtain walling. This aluminium framed wall consisting of mullions and transoms with in-fills of glass and metal panels. As with a lot of modern architectural designs, these can be complex systems and so, having accurate setting out through all floors of a project making sure the façade is installed exactly as per the design is essential. Our experienced team can provide this high accuracy setting out giving our clients the peace of mind knowing their external façade will be fixed exactly as the specification requires.
